Can’t blame her for just wanting to get out of there. Between the having to fill in a card instead of just getting a drink, being “called out” for being new, and a very important thing – where’s the bathroom – not just being told them; I mean, you would think that since everyone knew they were new, someone would told them that kind of important stuff without them specifically having to ask!

so, i have to say that while i was reading your first two questions i was getting a little upset “that’s not what that says” was my protesting cry…..and then you put in the last part and all was safe…. sigh… being a music teacher, i have the opportunity to teach students about a lot of different cultures. almost every time i have to correct some of the things they believe to be true of those cultures. unfortunately, our children are being fed ridiculous false information about other people groups from a very young age. they are also being taught that different is wrong….no matter what the difference is (hair, learning abilities, skin color, accents, religions, etc.) different is not wrong, it’s just…..different. and aren’t we all?….’cause i’m 99.9% sure that no two of us IN THE ENTIRE WORLD do things the EXACT same way and so to start any statement with “All Muslims” or “All Americans” or “All college kids” or (insert any group of people) a person is setting themselves up to proclaim nothing…….nothing that is except a BIG, UGLY lie!!!!!

Well I’ll admit that I’ve made a few comments myself about the government and the administratration. I’ve tried not to make them personal, but I’ve vented a little and expressed some concern. I think it’s funny that people think that this kind of rhetoric actually works.

Thanks for countering hate with sense. I am a Muslim and I can say that all of the statements of the fwd are wrong. I am not an American–but even I know that the U.S. constitution is not based entirely on “Biblical” principles. (Many of the “founding fathers” were Deists).—but, if it were, the principles of Justice, Compassion and Mercy of the Torah and NT would be entirely compatible with the Quran.
